SSS Wins AHRQ Data Management and Computer Programming Support Contract
(SILVER SPRING, MD May 15, 2009)-Social & Scientific Systems, Inc., was awarded the recompete of the Data Management and Computer Programming Support contract with the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ).
SSS has supported AHRQ continuously since 1979 and has played a central role in managing, processing, analYZing, and editing AHRQ data, as well as supporting AHRQ's print and Web-based data dissemination efforts. For this contract, SSS will continue its support of statistical Web applications; AHRQ publications such as Chartbooks, Research Findings, and Statistical Briefs; peer-reviewed journal articles written by AHRQ researchers; and presentations made by AHRQ researchers In professional meetings.
SSS' work has assisted AHRQ in its mission of improving the outcomes, quality, cost, safety, and utilization of health care services, and we have continued to add services to support the changing environment and needs of the Agency .
