Outreach and Media Coordination

We work with our clients from strategy to implementation to develop a clear agenda, build partnerships and collaborations, and effectively convey messages to target audiences. For example, in the Caribbean, we worked with representatives of English-, Spanish-, French-, and Dutch-speaking countries to design a program that addressed their collective needs for information and prepared all materials in all four languages.

We identify key stakeholders and organize and facilitate focus groups, planning groups, and advisory groups to help us define program needs and refine a message that is appropriate and effective. We worked through focus groups to identify representatives that served on a planning committee for a national Native American/Alaskan Native (NA/AN) conference that brought this group together to focus on issues of HIV/AIDS in NA/AN communities. We worked with an advisory committee of elders to help us develop a program that was credible within these communities. To create synergistic solutions and get our message out and accepted, we work with community groups and collaborating organizations. We have developed relationships with community-based organizations, such as the National Minority AIDS Council, to reach racial and ethnic minority community members. We develop background materials and press releases to work with the media and coordinate interviews with government and independent subject matter experts.
