Databases, Web Sites, and Management Information Systems (MIS) Development
Social & Scientific Systems assists clients in identifying program information needs, including the following:
- Critical information elements and their associated functions
- The best organization, use, distribution, and control of information for a given program
- The most efficient and practical means of managing the program's information requirements
We have developed and maintain a variety of Web sites, including sites that use Web-based form submission; databases that store, track, and report key information elements; and management information systems that track and monitor an array of information and activities for research and health care groups.
We provide the client with recommendations for enhancement to existing databases created by other organizations. A careful assessment is made of the existing database capabilities and the client's needs. Projected costs and benefits associated with recommended enhancements are presented to the client and enhancements are made following client approval.
