Clinical and Bioscience Research

The National Institutes of Health (NIH) and other members of the Government-funded health care community are continually expanding efforts to identify and develop novel science and technology needed to improve global public health and enhance the quality of life for millions of people. Social & Scientific Systems has a critical role in supporting this endeavor by providing management and operational support for a vast array of translational science activities. Through this support of clinical and bioscience research programs, we help expedite the availability of safe and effective therapeutics in clinical care.

Our broad clinical and bioscience experience, along with a set of tools and standardized processes, provides a solid foundation that can be used to transform high-level science into practical results.

Since the late 1980s, we have successfully coordinated the work of large networks of international researchers and practitioners conducting hundreds of research protocols. We have developed customized technology support for these programs and have provided regulatory assistance in domestic and resource-poor settings. We are currently serving as the coordinating center for both the AIDS Clinical Trials Group and the International Maternal Pediatric Adolescent AIDS Clinical Trials Group.

Social & Scientific Systems has taken the lead in the organization and implementation of programs from their earliest phases and has also stepped in to provide assistance to existing programs, which has enhanced capabilities and service to the client.

We have an unparalleled ability to synthesize manageable solutions for complex processes in a way that fosters broad, complementary interactions and effective communication and accountability, assisting the programs we support in achieving tangible and measurable outcomes.
